Grumeti Migration Camp

Situated north of Serengeti National Park and overlooking the Serengeti plains, Grumeti Migration Camp offers safari style accommodation within the Grumeti Wildlife reserve. Guests are welcome to relax in the outdoor swimming pool.

The property features tented suites, each equipped with an en suite bathroom with a solar-heated shower. The suites also come with either a balcony or terrace, from where guests can enjoy views of the plains and surroundings.

Due to Grumeti Migration Camp's convenient location on the migration corridor, guests may experience herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles right across from the camp grounds.

Guests at the property can enjoy professionally-prepared cuisines that range from African inspired dishes to international cuisines. The property also serves special diet meals upon request. Guests enjoy their dining experience at the indoor restaurant, on the terrace or by the swimming pool.

What was the highlight of Grumeti Migration Camp
Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent location of the camp on the hills next to Grumeti river. We spent nights and managed to see a lot of rare animals. Huge advantage of Grumeti reservation is that you can drive off-road and come really close (1-2 meters) to wild animals such as lions or guepards. No need to pay any park fees like in Serengeti park which was 60$ per person per night. We went for safari to Serengeti park only once and did not really like it bcz could drive off-road and take good pictures, so we spent rest of the time in Grumeti reservation where you are free to see and go anywhere and anytime, even go for night safari. For arrival suggest to fly to Fort Ikoma airstrip to avoid park fees like in Seronera airstrip. Good luck.

What was the highlight of Grumeti Migration Camp
We were the only guests, so all eyes on us. The staff was lovely and helpful. The swimming pool is overlooking the plains and you see all kind of animals from there, as well as the restaurant and bar/welcome area. We had a beautiful room with a comfy bed and a small terrace. The food was good. Overall nice lodge, in my opinion overpriced though. It's pretty far off the beaten track. So I would say it only pays off, if you stay at least 2 nights.
